Eric Douglas Parsons, 1917 – 1973 founder.

edp commenced business in 1947 - as an engineering operation
servicing orchards in the Mooroopna / Shepparton fruit-growing district
in Victoria, Australia - manufacturing fruit picking ladders. Since that
time, the business has developed into a major Australian manufacturer
and service provider of packaging and handling equipment for the
fruit and vegetable sectors in particular, and for the food industry in
general.

As well as establishing a dominant position in Australia, we have
developed a significant business presence in overseas markets.

To round out our own range of products, edp has entered into a number
of strategic alliances with similar and / or complimentary international
manufacturers / suppliers.
