frutmac Jollypack®

The Jollypack stands out as one of a few machines in the world designed for automatic filling of fruit into trays – now a popular option in Europe.

This adaptable machine from the European company frutmac consists of a tray dispenser, fruit supply conveyor, and a gentle automatic filling system for 4, 6 or 8 pieces of fruit. It packs apples, tomatoes, citrus, nectarines etc. – virtually any round fruit with a diameter of 50-90mm. It can be coupled to existing dry or wet emptying machines and after filling it can be set directly in line with an over wrapping machine or a flow wrapper.

As the ‘master’ machine in a packing line, Jollypack controls and interfaces electronically with infeed and outfeed equipment. For example, it feeds directly to a stretch wrapper and controls both the wrapper and the infeed side. The Jollypack accepts trays made of fibre (pulp), polystyrene, cardboard and some plastics, with contoured or flat bottoms within the following dimensions: length 130mm to 300mm; width 120mm to 180mm. edp® supplies all consumables.

You can choose from 100 compatible tray designs. Changing tray type or fruit size is easy with a touch screen colour monitor, and requires no tools.
