RGD Mape VR-1BIS Series 4

edp® is the exclusive agent for the European RGD Mape VR-1BIS series 4.

The VR-1BIS is the best seller in the RGD Mape range of equipment. It is the most versatile and can be adapted into different models to suit a range of different products.

• The VR-1BIS is designed to pack loose product in trays ranging in size from:
• Minimum dimensions:
  length 120mm x width 50mm x height 40mm
• Maximum dimension:
  length 450mm x width 240mm x height 150mm

Designed to pack loose product such as traffic light capsicum.

The output capacity on loose product is dependant on the speed at which the product can be placed on the VR-1BIS series 4 pusher infeed which is four metres in length.

VR-1BIS Included Accessories

PB02 — Balanced logo system

This centering system uses a photo eye to centre the logo so that the film length is always cut in the same place, producing identical packages. This allows the use of printed (registered) film that could contain a bar code or other information already pre printed onto the film. Plain film can also be used.

PB09 — Stop machine no film

This option will stop the machine automatically and avoid damage to the product in the case of a break or lack of film.

CT04 — Stop machine no product

This is an accessory that automatically paralyses the machine in cases where the feed carriage stops providing product. It is fitted with a photo eye which will stop the machine in the absence of product and allow a single operator to be preparing product or packing off, without the machine making empty packs and wasting film. In order to continue packing – just place product onto the feed carriage again.

CB01 — Roller Head Accompaniment

This accessory covers all the holes that can be found in the head cutter between the pulley wheels and the exit belt. It consists of a small series of rods that maintains the equilibrium of the product that crosses the head cutter. Required for smaller trays or products where the base of the tray is minimal.

CT08 — Additional 2 metres of in-feed carriage (total of 4meters in-feed)

This option gives you flexibility, whereby a single operator can load more products onto the feed carriage which will allow more time to tend to other areas before having to return to load more. Alternatively, when your demand is high and you want greater output, the 4 metre conveyor will allow four staff members to place product onto the feed carriage.

VR-1 BIS Design Advantages

• Two film rods to feed the film from the coil holder to the film tunnel. This is simpler at the time of starting the machine instead of feeding the film through multiple rods.
• The pulley wheels do not require opening when the machine is stopped. This feature stops the film from burning. Other machines have to set a mechanism to stop the film from being burnt.
• Electric button to re arm the head cutter after crushing product, which is activated by a clutch. All RGD machines are fitted with this feature, they do not use a mechanical ‘wheel’ for re-setting.
• The length of the bag is changed by one simple control which alters the head cutter and the longitudinal wheel. This makes new adjustments from one pack to another much quicker and simpler.
