edp® Minibagger

The edp® Minibagger is designed for small line runs. It uses advanced electronic weighing to automatically and quickly fill a bag to just under the required weight and then trim feed to the exact weight.

Versatility is the key word for the Minibagger,with three head attachment options:the tilt pan head, the bag filling head, and the batch weighing head.

Each of the heads are interchangeable so that the Minibagger can be used in a variety of applications.

The Minibagger can be manufactured in stainless steel if required.

Automatic Tilt Pan Head

An automatic tilt pan can handle bag sizes from 1kg to 5kg. It is a great choice for smaller packs of potatoes, onions, brussel sprouts, citrus fruits, passion fruit and even nuts.

Automatic Bag Filling Head

This model can be used to pack bags from 5kg up to 50kg and has the capacity to pack, depending on the bag size, up to six tonnes per hour. Bags can be paper, polypropylene, hessian or mesh and can be fitted with an optional, large produce head.

The economical price of the Minibagger and its ability to boost productivity can save potato and onion growers time and money and ultimately increase profits.

edp® Minibagger RPC Filler

The hopper of the edp® Minibagger RPC Filler accumulates the pre-batched weighed product ready for discharge. An infeed and exit system automatically indexes crates or cartons for filling. This provides a totally automatic packing solution. The Minibagger's weight program can be altered in seconds making the Minibagger exceptionally user friendly.

Automatic Batch Weighing Head

This hopper-like head allows for higher capacity batch weighing. Whilst the previously filled bag is removed and sealed, the batch weighing head is weighing up the next batch ready to be instantly dispatched into a bag. This is ideal for peeled produce such as potatoes, onions and baby carrots.
