edp® New Series Powerwate Trellis-Mate

edp® Trellis-Mate is a self-propelled orchard platform for all year round maintaining, pruning, thinning and harvesting of trellis-style trees. It was initially custom designed for a local Tatura grower. Due to operational success and cost savings, the Trellis-Mate has been included into edp’s standard range of products. The 3.5m long platform can safely accommodate up to four workers at a time.

• Width can be manually adjusted from 1.5 to 2.5m to suit tree spacing
• Height can be manually adjusted from 1.1 to 1.5m
• Contains all edp® PowerLadder parts and is totally controlled from the platform
• Equipped with an 11 hp Honda motor
• Smooth hydraulic steering can be set at a comfortable (creep) working speed
• 15cfm air compressor with dual tanks
• Installed with an air service unit with three outlets, comfortably catering for three pruners at a time
• Two-speed hydraulic pump

• Options
• Shade canopy for pickers and fruit can be fitted to the Trellis-Mate. The height of the canopy can be adjusted to suit tree lines
• Detachable ¼ tonne holding frame for up to seven empty bins
• Detachable ¼ tonne lowering frame for full bins.
